Anita Nderu's husband Barret Raftery has left the former NTV presenter in tears during a one-on-one between the couples on Stephanie Ng'ang'a Youtube Channel.
The two revealed that they were introduced by a mutual friend in 2020 when they were both going through breakups.
Raftery said within a year, he knew he was going to marry her and they started planning for the wedding.
"I used to spend six to eight hours a day on the phone with her, I have never spent that many hours with anyone ever," he said
Nderu said she felt safe and at peace around him.
"He was incredible, he was a warm, kind, intelligent kind of man, a sweetheart, caring and such a gentleman and so charismatic and so charming."
Barret added, "She is the kindest person he's ever met."
For Nderu, meeting her dad was scary to her however "He was happy and accepting of him, that to me was a vote of confidence."
The mother of one was left in tears during the recording of the episode when she revealed to her hubby how thoughtful he was adding that his brain turns her on.
"During the wedding, he wrote his vows so thoughtfully, I wanted to be given time to go re-write mine and come back, you will always get me out of my comfort zone to do something which is not what I would do and that makes life so much fun and I'm grateful I get to live it with you. I pray that we have a long, loving, healthy, wealthy, peaceful life. No matter what happens we always find each other and we will always be my person."
