Mugithi artist DJ Fatxo says he does not habour any hard feelings after his friends deserted him.

This was after they allegedly deserted him at a time his name was being mentioned as a person of interest in Jeff Mwathi's death.

Speaking at JKIA after he landed from the UK for a music tour, Fatxo stated;

" Be careful when choosing friends, Most of my friends left me. I really needed them but they walked.

"I do not blame them, I understand them because they couldn't stay with the narrative that was being spread.

"I thank God this narrative is being cleared. The family will never leave you."

He further added;

"I do not regret being a celebrity. I have been good and I will continue being me."

In a four-page statement written by Fatxo's lawyer early this year lawyer, Duncan Okatch, the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) agreed with the recommendations from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) that there is no evidence linking him to Mwathi's death.

"It is clear that there is no single shred or iota of evidence to suggest any remote criminal culpability by our client or suspicion thereof.

In fact, it is very clear that our client was not even at his house at the material time that his friend, Jeff MWathi met his death," the statement read in part.
