Her sentiments come at a time when there is a discussion on submission in modern day marriages.
In the past gospel artist Mercy Masika said she feel more powerful when she is submitting.
"Submitting to your husband doesn't make you less. It helps your marriage to do it God's way," she wrote on Instagram.

JJC founder Kathy Kiuna also recently shared submission is one of the reasons her marriage to Allan Kiuna is still thriving.
"Everything that God created follows a pre-established order, Nothing that God does is haphazard or chaotic. Being in order doesn’t mean that you are inferior, it means you understand that for anything to function properly, there must be order."
Kathy is the founder of Woman Without Limits has a cute nickname for Bishop Kiuna calling him 'General'. She spoke about submitting to the man she has been with for almost three decades.
Adding, "As a wife, I understand that I'm not inferior to my husband, we are equally created in the image and likeness of God. But I also understand that for the sake of our marriage to function properly, I willingly submit myself to my husband's authority in obedience to God’s word in Eph 5:22-23. True power is tested when it's put under submission."
Another famous Kenyan who has opened up about submitting to her husband has been singer Mercy Masika, and Size 8, who elected sharp reaction for their views.
