Kenyan artist and business woman Akothee has finally released her new single 'Simu'.

The mother of five was not pleased after a section of Netizens assumed she and her husband had broken up after she shared a teaser of the new song.

She now says people should stop waiting for her marriage to fail.

"Even after media personalities seeing it is a song that has been dropped they still called to seek clarification.

What I am I clarifying? You are calling to confirm whether my husband and I have broken up. Is it because Nelly who is part of my family came to my daughter's business launch?

Or have you guys lost your brains?"

An obviously upset Akothee questioned why she would create posters to announce she is no longer married

"Who organizes a poster to announce they are single, stop diverting from the point accept that I have dropped a club banger and its now on You tube."

Akothee married the love of her life early this year.

 Denis Schweizer, also known as Omosh, tied the knot in a beautiful garden wedding at the Windsor Golf and Country Club.

The couple looked stunning as they both wore white outfits for the occasion.

Akothee looked stunning in her highly publicized Ksh 700K white gown, while her husband wore a white Achkan, also known as a Sherwani.

The wedding was among the most publicized weddings in Kenya.
