• Akothee during her speech at the launch of her daughter's winery, she gave a speech thanking and explaining her relationship with her ex , Nelly Oaks.

During the Launch of her firstborn's daughter, Vesha, who had opened a winery and in presence was Nelly Oaks her ex.

The two actually came in to the launch together walking hand in hand and this perplexed many as she had also earlier wished him a happy birthday.

In her speech , she started off by saying that this is the man behind her brand and he is her bestfriend who has driven her to success.

"This guy is the man behind my brand, he has a big heart, handling Akothee is nothing next to handling Raila, Uhuru or Ruto"

The musician went on to say how her ex has been handling even her WhatsApp group that she shares with her baby daddies.

"Nelly is family we have come from far and he has helped me leave a legacy in my community so I really don't care what you think when you see me with him"

The business lady went on to thank the manager for always being present both for her and her children when she is not even there.

"He takes care of my children and even go out partying with them, my sons call him on a daily basis so when you see us we are family."

This video elicited a lot of mixed reactions from Kenyans and some openly said that the mother of five is quite mature and with others being sarcastic about her statements.
