The mother two says at the time she got her first child, she and her husband Willis Raburu were actively looking for a child.

6 months after the birth of her son, Namu found out she was pregnant with her second child, something she was not prepared for.

"When I got pregnant with my first child Raburu and I were actively looking for a baby. We however had to see a gynecologist as I was not getting pregnant.

"I had extra progesterone hormones. So getting pregnant was not happening as my body was assuming am already pregnant."

Weeks after visiting the gynecologist, Namu was pregnant with her first child.

"She praised Willis for being supportive, adding that he was responsible for changing their son's diaper as she was still clueless."

How did she feel after finding out she was pregnant with her second child barely a year after she welcomed her son?

"I was so shocked. Mali was six months, I felt guilty because I felt like I had not given my son enough time.

"I blamed myself. When I told Willis he was very happy. We told our family as usual but it took me some time to accept."

She further added that mum guilt she found herself wanting to spend time with her son and this made her continuously fatigued.

"Luckily for me the first I had no morning sickness, I was however very emotional. I became intentional about spending time with my son before I become a mum for the second time.

"I was pushing myself to overcompensate and I was very tired because Mali always wanted to be carried. It was a hard balancing act emotionally."

She says she got through thanks to her families support.
