Coast-born musician Fredrick Mutinda aka Brown Mauzo has made it clear that he has no problem with his wife Vera Sidika enjoying the songs of her former lover, Otile Brown.
This is after the popular socialite recently posted a video of herself listening to Otile Brown's song 'Chaguo la Moyo' and even singing along, a move that attracted mixed reactions from Kenyans.
In an interview with a local radio station, Mauzo noted that even he had posted a song by his fellow musician in the past.
“Haina tatizo, mimi nishaweka, ata mimi nishaweka. Haina noma, sote ni industry moja,” he said.
Mauzo made it clear that his wife's enjoyment of Otile's song did not make him feel bad at all.
“Mimi sioni ikiwa tatizo kwa sababu, ukipenda wimbo utasema kwa sababu mtu wamchukia uchukie wimbo? Hata ya adui yako waweza kusikiza tena ukaipenda,” he explained.
“Hata kuongea wakaongea haina maana kwa sababu watu wanakua. Mambo yanapita nyuma na tunaepusha ile hakuna uhasama.”
In the interview, the coastal-born artist also made it clear that his marriage with socialite Vera Sidika is still intact.
Brown dismissed claims of a split with the mother of his two kids that have surfaced in the past months and revealed that their relationship is still on good terms.
“Tuko poa, tuko poa. Tuko pamoja, kwani shida iko wapi. Hatujaachana, kwani tuliachana lini. Siwezi kudanganya, mimi Muislamu,” he reassured.
The singer however pointed out that there have been misunderstandings in the past, just like in other normal marriages.
“Maisha huwa na changamoto, mahusiano ni safari nyingine ya pandashuka. Sisi sio wakamilifu,” the father of five said.
Over the past few weeks, many concerns have been raised about the marital status of the two. This follows their recent actions on social media including posting cryptic messages and even deleting photos of each other from their respective pages.
