During an interview with Plug TV, Eric Omondi opened up about his reasons for helping Victor Juma.

Eric's journey toward helping Victor Juma began with a powerful video that captured the harrowing ordeal of an unjust arrest and its devastating impact on Juma and his child.

''So nikajiuliza mbona huyu mtu mmoja amemulikwa na polisi na journalists mbona tusimsaidie for me it was coming from a personal perspective, atafute nyumba atafute biashara na alipie mtoto shule, hizo vitu tatu so tukapiga hesabu akasema itafika 150 nikasema wacha tuifikishe 300 kufika tena nikasema tuendelee.''

The vulnerability and fear expressed by Juma struck a deep chord with Omondi, compelling him to take action.

THANK YOU TO Everyone who sent Anything Yesterday🙏🙏🙏 We managed to Raise Ksh 400,000 for Victor Juma and His young family. The Money will go towards.

1. Medical Bills for him and his daughter.

2. He will open an Exhibition shop for Clothes and Shoes.

3. His wife will start a small hotel business.

4. Rent For one year

5. School Fees for two Years for the Daughter.

6. I will Advertise his businesses for free.

With a heartfelt plea for unity and compassion, Omondi demonstrated that collective action could bring about real change.

''Ni kitu poa sijawahi fanya kitu kama hio kuchangisha pesa, ni mara yangu ya kwanza na hata nimeona nitakuwa naifanya once a month, nitakuwa natufuta mtu mmoja every month once a month naita wakenya tunamchangia.''
