• Kamene and DJ Bonex are among Kenya's newly wedded celebrity couples.

Former Morning Kiss Presenter Kamene Goro has revealed how she met her bae DJ Bonez.

The couple caught many unaware after photos of their wedding emerged.

In an interview with Oga Obinna, Kamene shared that she met him during a trip to the Coast, and for them, it was not love at first site.

"We met in Mombasa, We did not like each other at first.

At the time Bonez's friend had a birthday party, he owns a club.

Later I went back to the same club with a former co-host of mine. Bonez used to say I was ratchet.

I was young at the time."

Kamene says she has known Bonez since 2015

" He hated me, we never used to talk. In 20202 December I was with a pal of mine.

We landed and we were taken to Serena Hotel.

we decide to hire a Yatch, and we were told we could get a DJ onboard, so we booked the Yatch.

We were just the two of us. Sherehe started. Within no time I saw DJ Bonez, we talked and I went back to talk to my pals."

My friend had taken my power bank, he (DJ Bonez) called and before he said whatever he wanted, I directed him to someone else (Terry).

I thought he wanted the power bank.

After that, he would come every day to the hotel and we would hang out."

Bonez says all along he had Kamene's number as they were in a certain group together.

In an earlier video, Kamene was left shocked after Bonez categorically stated he would never right over a woman.

"So if someone squeezes my hips, won't you fight for me? So you can't fight for me? Can't you fight for me?

And 'I can't fight a man'. Is it today that you are telling me that you cannot fight for me after marriage? Stop...you can't fight for me. I think we should stop doing this period, I'm under stress."

But the DJ wasn't having any of that and blithely said that fighting should be left to former boxers like Mike Tyson.

This left the radio host angry to the point that they should stop doing the episode, saying that Bonez had changed, she said in a dazed and hopeless voice.

The couple together with comedian Oga Obinna has been doing podcasts on the Kamene& Obinna channel on a weekly basis.

Earlier this week, the couple made the crazy revelation that Kamene's former lover had tried to stalk her and harass him.

"While we were in Mombasa, he came to a large group of people and touched me, I turned around and was surprised.

It was about a year since we broke up (I had been with Bonez for about a year and more). He said he wanted to go and say hello to my boyfriend. I said at your peril. He went to the hut in front of him," Kamene said.

After standing in front of him, Kamene's ex-boyfriend cheered him and congratulated him on winning the woman they had been 'fighting for' according to Bonez.

"He came and clapped his hands and said congratulations, 'You have won.' Good thing Mombasa is known for bouncers. I called the bouncers to take him out and he was taken to the beach. He really bothered me," said Bonez.
