Media Personality Willis Raburu and his wife Ivy Namu are adoring parents to their two children.

Ivy is getting candid about how Willis played a huge role in parenting when she was pregnant and after delivery. He handled everything because she was clueless.

Ivy confessed this in an interview with Marya Okoth on her YouTube channel Friday, July 21.

"We agreed to have a child, we were actively trying to have a baby," she said.

Conception was not easy over hormonal challenges.

"Conception is not that easy there can be a whole range of issues....and I feel it really helped to be in communication with him"

It was successful and a pregnancy test proved it.

How she found out she was pregnant with baby number one?

"Ï was at home with my mum and I was really sick. Bad cramps, I was throwing up it was intense and this is of course after a delayed period. So I was wondering what's up"

Raburu hugged her tightly assuring her that he will be there for her with a heartfelt congratulatory message "That's what brought me back to oh this is something that I want. And like one thing with him, he has never let me do anything alone, and I've never gone for any appointment alone, anything "she shared a tip

The first trimester was difficult. Willis showed his soft side again when she was nauseous and couldn't do much "Hadi Willis was like it is not by force, stop oh, so for those three months he cooked, nilikuwa baby girl," she added.

As they were trying to get pregnant, Willis and Ivy moved in together.

"Unajua ni ile tries x, si ati umemove kabisa bado uko na..kwanza it was the time of covid, that time hakukuwa na form, there was nowhere to go, it was just home"

They moved in after announcing to their respective families that she was pregnant.

He never wanted her to leave according to her confession.

"He didn't want me to leave, it was a good experience waiting for the kicks and everything."

She was eager to know the gender and undertook the test at five months. It was a boy. She always wanted to be a boy mum.

"Mali is my husband's rainbow baby. Kulikuwa na hiyo was very intimate, it was one of those things, where it's not a secret, but it's private because we had a lot to fear as well. A lot of anxiety as well," Namu said.

They had an elective CS; "We got to pick our sons birthday July 4th.""

Ivy has a very special video of Willis Raburu and their firstborn son when he was delivered in the hospital. At the time, Willis could not join her in the delivery room owing to restrictions and so he watched from a window.

"I saw it on camera coz we had family recording and he was very happy. You know He was saying that Mali was crying a lot then when he went to say hi to him, he opened his eyes. I was so happy for him. That video is one of my most precious videos ever"

Marya comforted an emotional Ivy telling her she gave him a good dad and Ivy agreed

"I gave my baby a good dad. You are a good dad Mr Willis Raburu. It was a good feeling and even after that, I was clueless. By the way, Willis changed the first diaper, I think like the first five diapers."

He was so gracious, he showed Ivy how to do it. "I didn't know much but he did more he was helping like he took charge, all I did was breastfeed."
