In 2022 Tik Toker swallowed a Gastric Balloon to help him lose weight. Fast forward to 2023, Kinuthia now says he gave up as it was necessary for him to eat clean to help him lose weight.

According to him, he is not disciplined when it comes to eating healthy.

This he revealed during an interview with Mungai Eve.

"People have been asking me that question. That thing needs one to follow up a proper diet, I gave up on the way. BY the time the process was ending I had given up. I have no food discipline."

Kinuthia says weight has never been among the things that bother him.

"I have always been comfortable with my weight, I just wanted to try something new. I can never get back the balloon. Maybe what I should try going to the gym. The weight has never been a bother for me."

In a past interview Kinuthia admitted to being 'lazy' when it comes to working out in the gym. That was one of the reasons he decided to swallow the balloon. At the time he had lost around 7 Kgs.

In a past interview, Kinuthia told Word Is that he swallowed the balloon in November 2022 and it will be removed in February 2023.

"I have seen the changes. This last month, I am supposed to do extra workouts and even have a personal trainer to help me out," he said.

Kinuthia said he is impressed by the changes as his focus was on belly fat and he has seen the changes.

"I am happy to see myself losing 7kg. I have only been reducing the amount of food I take and I have managed to lose that much," he said.

When asked why he chose the procedure, Kinuthia said he does not have the discipline to be consistent with other workout plans.

"I spent 450k and if I get more cash, I will still do it again. I will only consider taking a two-month break to enjoy the foods that I have been asked not to take when having them," he said, adding that he misses soda.

Speaking about the challenges, Kinuthia said he has been experiencing morning sickness, and waking up has also been a challenge.

"With the balloon, you can't wake up and start doing your things. You wake up in stages to also give it time to fix well after the night's turns," he said.

Kinuthia said his mum encouraged him to go through the procedure since he was overweight.

"It’s a small tablet you swallow and when it gets to your stomach, they do an X-ray then start filling the tablet with a fluid. They fill through a pipe which sticks out your mouth."
