Zari Hassan shared a screenshot of her facetime with her husband Shakib Lutaaya.
The businesswoman said Mr Lutaaya was reminding her that he had already gotten her off the streets and is someone's wife.
Zari said she promised him that she is still wifey, even when she is not around him.
"Not him reminding me the streets ain't for me. Lol, I know. I'll be home soon and I'm still wifey in these streets,"she said
Zari was in Uganda last week and held an interview with NTV Uganda where she disclosed that at first, her three teenage sons didn't like her husband.
“My children did not approve of my relationship with Shakib but after witnessing how close we were and happy, they asked him to ensure that he takes good care of me.”
She also added that her Islamic marriage to Lutaaya was a surprise to her.
"The Nikah ceremony was a surprise. He in collaboration with a few friends organized the marriage. I didn’t hesitate because I loved him. His courage just shocked me, I didn’t expect him to pull off such a move.
"I asked for a Quran for Mahr (dowry). My husband Lutaaya had a life of his own before we met. He works and as a busy man, even after we got married, we are not together all the time. He comes by when he gets time or when I am free. People just got to know him through me,”
Adding “I asked for a Quran as Mahr (dowry) because I am on a spiritual journey with Allah. My husband, Shakib prays a lot so I feel guilty if I don’t and he always calls to remind me to pray when he’s not around,” Zari said
