President William Ruto instructed his predecessor, Uhuru Kenyatta, to stop his support for Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
The President asserted that Uhuru had been funding Raila and that this money had been used to bribe members of the illegal Mungiki group.
"Na mimi nataka nimwambie rafiki yangu Uhuru hata wewe achana na huyu mzee. Wacha kumpea pesa ya kununua watu ya mugiki wachome Nairobi, " he said.
Ruto was speaking on Friday after the commissioning of the Naivasha-Njabini Road at Kinamba Trading Centre in Nakuru County.
He urged the former President to show statesmanship.
He warned him if he did not stop, he was going to be dealt with.
"Usipowachana na yeye hata wewe tutakusafirisha na huyo kitendawili wako," he said.
Ruto said they had supported Uhuru when he was president, wondering why he was supporting the destruction of public property and vandalism in Nairobi.
He however did not provide evidence for his statement.
Uhuru has not been seen in public with Raila since the second wave of Azimio demonstrations began.
The ex-president was in Goma, DRC during the Wednesday protests for a meeting on the Eastern DRC peace initiative.
