Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has once again teamed up with Congolese Maestro Koffi Olomide for a new collaboration from the success of their 2020 hit song Waah.

Diamond shared a shot video while in the studio with Koffi and an indication that they were cooking something. He later shared another video with Koffi at his Dar es Sallam mansion.

Diamond’s mother Sandra Dangote also shared a video while hanging out with Olomide on what seemed like a location for the video shoot for the new collabo.

The much anticipate collabo between Chibu Dangote and Koffi comes barely three years after they set and broke their records with Waah.

The song “WAAAH” garnered over 1 million views in 8 hours and 2 million views in 13 hours on YouTube.

This is a new milestone to be achieved by an African artiste based on the fact that the Waah video has managed to clock over 2 million in less than 24 hours.

The Waah video was directed by Director Kenny who used to work at a production company co-owned by Diamond .

The singer made Sh4.2 million from the song Waah at a time it had accumulated 39 million views.

In September 2019, WCB signee Rayvanny set a new record in the Africa Music Industry, after a teaser to his song “PEPETA" featuring Bollywood actress and singer Nora Fatehi clocked 1 million views within 6 hours.
