Dr Ofweneke, the Duke Of Kakamega is widely celebrated as amongst Kenya's best Mc's. The comedian has landed many opportunities thanks to his humour and good nature with brands and celebrities.
He was Akothee's Mc during her wedding earlier this year. Akothee is his good friend and she always told that she always considers him above all for that role whenever she hosts events.
Another good friend may also consider his services should their nuptials be held soon.
His friends Diana Marua and Bahati are expected to soon walk down the aisle. The popular couple announced their engagement
Dr. Ofweneeke is speaking on the possibility of hosting that wedding in an interview with YouTuber Trudy Kitui. He praised the content creators for their close friendship, hailing Bahati.
"Well, I can't plan because it's their wedding, so far I want to treat it as rumours. Diana and Bahati have not told me though I will be very much proud of them, whether I attend the wedding or not, whether I am invited or not, whether I am the MC or not.
It's because I have watched Bahati grow in the industry from when he was a young man and I would be very happy to see him walk down the aisle it will be a very proud moment for me as a senior, or maybe as a father in the industry.
And also Diana having known her for all these years and of course now working together, it really is something good seeing them walking down the aisle. I would really wish them the best whether I will be the MC or not I wish them the best."
He also explained why he might not be the MC at the event saying his diary is normally packed in December.
"And if they approach me and my diary...coz I heard the wedding is in December I think. And if they approach me December is crazy for me, I could be in the country or out of the country. If they approach me and my date allows, I will be very much glad to be the MC, I wouldn't mind."
A few weeks ago, Bahati had spoken about their forthcoming nuptials, promising Diana that it will be the most talked about event in Kenya.
"Babe, When I Make My Money Right I Promise to buy you a Private Jet ✈️ for your Private Vacations to your Favourite Private Islands 🏝" he said.
