Kenyan actress, Jackie Matubia is talking openly about her relationship with Kennedy Njogu, the father of her first child and former husband.

While recounting how her pre-teen daughter had taken her by surprise, Jackie made the revelation, in videos that she posted on her Instagram stories.

The multi-talented actress claimed that she and Kennedy always communicate when it comes to their daughter.

The mother of two described how she was enticed to read her daughter's diary when she discovered it in her room. She read it, and some of the things the eight-year-old had jotted down confused her.

"There is one I saw, it was a secret, and I started shaking. I was confused about whether to confront her or call the dad. I was going nuts," Jackie told her over 979k Instagram followers.

She continued by emphasising how well she and Kennedy interact and cooperate as co-parents of their kid.

"I called her dad, and we talked. He was like, 'Let me Google' because we have never raised a pre-teen, and we don't have enough information to raise her," Jackie added.

The actress made a point of stopping reading her daughter's diary because she was nearly coming home from school.
