After award-winning creator Crazy Kennar intimated that he was melancholy, one of his crew members, Yvonne Khisa, shared a mysterious remark on her Instagram stories, sparking speculation.
"Depression is real," Kennar had said on his Facebook, along with an emoji of a shattered heart. He did not elaborate on the post's content or provide any context for its creation.
While playing the song "Kothbiro" by Ayub Ogada, he shared the same content on his Instagram stories.
Shortly afterward, Yvonne posted what appeared to be a response to Kennar's post on her Instagram stories.
"Toxic people acting as a victim is the funniest shit ever," wrote the budding content creator followed by laughing emojis and the peace sign.
We quickly checked our social media and saw that Yvonne had also unfollowed the comedian.
Yvonne's post and decision to cut ties with Kennar.
Only a few months ago, two other crew members abruptly quit making content with Kennar and unfollowed him.
A few weeks ago, Bushra Sakshi and Africas decided to stop following the celebrated comedian. Bushra didn't make any announcements or post anything on social media to suggest how their fallout may have begun.
Africas did, like Yvonne, post something mysterious, but she didn't elaborate or explain why the two were no longer working on projects together.
However, on her Instagram stories, she posted a message that read, "Men can leave you in the desert with no water (laughs) no actual men will leave you in the desert with no water!
Anyway, another day to remind you to fight for your space unapologetically. With a lover, Management!"
She also shared a gif of a curious man gazing around and sipping a sizable cup of tea in the background while Cardi B and Offset's hit song "Clout" was playing.
"Do anything for clout.. they do anything for clout, do this woo woo, b*tch watch your mouth" the lyrics read.
Interestingly, Natalie Asewe, Kennar's girlfriend, appeared to be defending her guy and criticising his female crew mates who seems to have strongly disagreed with him.
Natalie shared a previous article that a renowned digital content creator had written, encouraging readers to constantly be afraid of women.
There is definitely a firestorm brewing within Kennar's camp, and the posts raise more questions than they do solutions. What do you think about everything? Real problem or clout-seeking tactic?
