Keranta Chege is asking some hard questions about taking the next step in life - Marriage. Keranta, the girlfriend of content creator Flaqo Raz spent some quality time with her mother learning how to cook mahamris.

In the video, Keranta asks her mother about the right time for a girl to get married. Her mother indicates it is good for a girl to do it while young.

"Mum nikuulize tuu swali mtu anafaa kuolewa akiwa miaka ngapi?"

Her mum replies;

"Kuolewa? Ata ukiwa na kuuanzia miaka 22 or 25 kitambo girls used to get married hata wakiwa na miaka 19."

Keranta's mum got married when she was 20. That left Keranta mentioning how she is 21 and if she should jump right in as well.

"So Mi nikiamua nataka kuolewa kesho, process ni gani? Ninaenda tuu?"

Her mum refuses saying, "Hautaenda tuu. Ukitaka kuuamua kuolewa lazima kwanza ulete kijana ule anataka kukuoa ndio tumjue, ili tuweze kujuana process ya kwanza ni kujua huyo kijana."

The daughter then points out that she may be ripe for marriage, and asks her mum if she should go ahead with such plans;

"Ama mi ni mtoto, we ndipo unaweza kujua. We unajuanga ukiwa mtoto unaweza nini, eh marriage ni kukuwa na up and down," her mum adds.

Keranta asks her if she has a problem with tribe saying whether her mom would have an issue getting married to a Kamba man.

"Sina shida bora mnaskizana na jamaa anakuoa. Background pia ina matter. He sana, si unaelewa ni kwa nini? Background inakuwa mzuri juu si muende tuu mfuatane na mtu from nowhere hujui ametoka wapi yani labda alikuwa tuu unaelewa?"

Flaqo and Keranta went public with their relationship in February this year. The two had been speculated to be dating but never addressed it.

Celebrating their third anniversary, Flaqo described Keranta as a God-given gift to him.

"Thanking God for all the good and the bad and for making us so imperfect," he wrote on Instagram.

"Giving you and me the same mindset. The happy times, sad times, the 'breakups', the makeups…the bestie bestie periods... I just thank God for you, for giving me the most understanding type of person by my side for years."
