Internet users were enthused after former Machachari child star Ian Nene, also known as Almasi (his stage name), released a video of himself leading Hindu devotees in Mombasa during their festival, Jagannatha Ratha Yatra.

The video has received a wide range of responses from internet users, with the majority complimenting the young man for always leading a loud and unrepentant life.

Ian, who visited his family last week, can be seen dancing and shouting in the aforementioned video as a group of Indian guys enthusiastically and adoringly follow suit.

A brown headscarf, beads around his neck and waist, and a white robe with black polka dots print were all worn by the model.

He sang for the audience and appeared to be completely absorbed in it before bursting into a furious shoulder-shaking dance.

Others who were drawn to his intensity joined the dancing and attempted to pick up the pace. Ian noted in the video's captions that it was the best Rathayatra he had ever attended.

He gushed about the wonderful spirit coming from everyone around him and how fortunate he had been to celebrate it not only with other Hindi speakers but also with his fellow citizens.

"Jagannatha Rathayatra in Mombasa, Kenya for me was by far THE BEST RATHAYATRA EVER!!!! UNMATCHED! ECSTATIC! 🤪🥰❤️," part of his caption read.

He went on to add;

"Dancing and chanting with my fellow Kenyan family was one of the greatest gifts I received from this short trip I had back home 🥰❤️“O Jagannath, Lord of the Universe, kindly be visible unto me.” 🙏🏾
