Why Court has stopped arrest of three cops suspected of murder
Justice Chigiti suspended the directive from the DPP to arrest the three officers pending the determination of the case saying the orders issued will operate as stay.
- • The DPP had ordered for the arrest of PC Tom Mbuku, Cpl Ginna Garro and PC Langat Hillary of Kamukunji police station to face murder charges for killing Kelvin Maina in 2020.
- • However, on Tuesday, Justice J. Chigiti suspended the decision pending the hearing of case filed challenging their prosecution.
