• Get to know more about the life of Stephen Otieno Adera a Kenyan musician, rapper and song writer.

Stephen Otieno Adera aka Stivo Simple Boy was born in Oyugis, Homabay County in 1990 on the 28th of January.

The musician is 33 years old and is the last born in a family of eight siblings.

Stivo spent most of his childhood in Nyanza where he studied from nursery to class seven , where they then relocated to Nairobi.

After they moved to Nairobi, in Kibera he continued with his studies and sat for his KCPE but due to financial challenges, he couldn't further his studies.

Stivo Simple Boy's love for music started at a very young age and he was able to sharpen his skills at Kibera Creative Arts Centre.

The young man who is into the hip-hop genre of Music was able to do some performances before he started producing music which also helped him.

He released his first song in 2015 that went by the name Ukimwi and then went on to release his hit song Mihadarati in 2019.

This song is what brought Stivo Simple Boy into the limelight and got him a role as the NACADA ambassador in that year.

NACADA is an agency that deals with creating awareness on the fight of drug and substance abuse in Kenya.

He was trolled by many people at this point because of how he sings, how he talks and also his appearance but he kept going.

The musician has been in a number of relationship scandals over the past with him dating multiple ladies.
