Mrs. Edday Nderitu, Samidoh's wife has contributed to the ongoing discussion on the internet about the controversial allegations that Karen Nyamu was the victim of domestic abuse, which she has vehemently denied.
Over the weekend, a picture of nominated Senator Karen Nyamu with a bruised face went viral on social media and sparked rumors that she had been beaten by someone she knew.
Some netizens even claimed that the senator was beaten by her lover Samidoh, a claim that she has already dismissed.
Recently, while responding to Edday's Facebook post, a fan mocked Senator Nyamu for buying Samidoh an expensive drink and allegedly getting something bad in return.
"“Kule kwingine ata baada ya kununua pombe ya 420 lakini malipo...Hakuna ila maombi," a Facebook user wrote on Edday's page.
Edday, who has in the past had issues with Nyamu responded by saying, "Hizo huwa kama prescription."
Earlier on, Karen had denied the allegations of domestic violence following widespread concern raised on social media.
On Sunday evening during a Facebook Senator Nyamu also addressed rumours online that her black eye was the result of domestic violence.
In the live, she strenuously denied the allegation while also asking Kenyans to take the issue of domestic violence seriously.
