Sherlyne Anyango, the ex-girlfriend of media personality Oga Obinna rose to fame with social media antics that got her noticed.
She made a lot of money through this but she now has regrets, especially doing drugs in the past. She has a new jam dubbed 'No One' a fitness-motivated song to avoid feelings for your gym trainer.
"I have recorded 6 more songs that I am about to release. Feel free to call me msanii."
She is still doing her video vixen career since returning to Kenya, working with Wakadinali and Redsan.
Sherlyne recently spoke to YouTuber Presenter Ali defending her remarks on KTN Str8t Up where she spoke about regretting clout chasing for fame.
"By me regretting, it doesn't mean that I'm not ok right now. I'm very ok. Maisha haijanipiga. Now that my brain thinks differently like nimeoutgrow vitu nilikuwa nafanya.
The main thing that got me to say was that there was one point I was going to get married. The family decided to Google my name, and everything was about Xtian Dela, all the things I use to do as a 19-year-old. The mzungu guy liked me a lot but the family wa like this is a red flag and advised their son not to marry me."
She said this was an eye-opener. Sherlyne is regretting clout-chasing to gain fame.
"People do make mistakes it's just that other people's mistakes haziko recorded, mine was."
She had even blocked her family while clout chasing, telling them off for advising her against publicity stunts.
"Sikuwa nawaskiza. I wish I never posted myself with my bu** naked. I wish I concealed everything."
She met Obinna through a friend, fell in love, and started dating according to her account to Presenter Ali.
They dated for one year, "I got a better deal. He was not a bad guy I would say he was very motivating, but my goals were not matching his."
She blames this on herself. "Before I stopped dating him, I explained we can't be together and he agreed. He tried to come back and I'm the one who refused," she insisted.
She also laughed off claims she funded his lifestyle, "I can't talk about that," she shared.
