In a long emotional post, on her Instagram page, Nurse Judy shares with her fans the struggles she went through while relocating to the US.
She recounted this moment that led her to the happy and successful person she is at the moment.
She says at that point she didn't have a job and had been denied a working permit in Tanzania at the same time her marriage was in chaos and she was also facing a lot of online backlash.
Nurse Judy says at this period she used to cry a lot and she even missed her flight back to the USA and was so uncertain of what the future held.
"Packed my bags to leave for the USA, sadly I missed my flight, and was painful to lose my money😫Went back to an Air BnB, had kids come over, and cried all night watching them sleep next to me not knowing what the future holds😭In London Heathrow waiting to connect to the US and I cried so much at the airport"
Judy reveals that she had to work as a caregiver from the time she arrived as she waited for her green card to be processed.
"Working in the adult homes as a caregiver I cried on many days & couldn't wait to practice as the RN I was.Ilikua inauma sana. An expensive immigration process and a caregiver job😑subjected me to a negative bank balance on two occasions then I bought my first car and I was happy to be able to move around and to go to work smoothly (Car in the US is a basic need🥹)"
