Alikiba has been the talk of town after his wife Amina Khalef demanded that he signs the divorce papers. Kiba has stayed mum over the issue after his fans accused him of flirting with Tanzanian businesswoman Niffer.
A video showing Alikiba and Niffer advertising her clothes line has been termed as cosy. When recently asked by a journalist about her relationship with Alikiba and whether she has contributed to the singer's failed marriage, Niffer said.
"Mimi sihusiki na wala sitaki kujua chochcote kinachowahusu wao. Nafuatilia yanayonihusu mimi na yeye."
(I am not involved (in their drama) and I don't want to know anything about them but I am focused on what involves me and him alone)
Amina said she had been caged in the name of being the singer's wife and protecting his brand while the singer was free to do anything he wanted.
Amina demanded the singer to sign the divorce papers saying she had been caged while the singer was free to do whatever he wanted.
“Nimeona kuna haja ya kuaddress, | think hii inaenda kuwa too much!!! I am tired of being disrespected publicly huku watu wakiwa hawaelewi situation iliyopo’ katika kivuli cha MKE WA MTU!!!" She wrote on Instagram stories
Adding;
“Nimeondoka kwenye maisha yako kuepuka maumivu, abuse na mengi, lakini mpaka leo HUTAKI kunipatia Divorce huku wewe ukiwa huru kufanya mambo yako na mimi ukinifunga katika kivuli cha MKE WA MTU, (In the name of Kulinda Brand as you said), Kindly nakuomba SIGN THE PAPERS ili nipate Divorce yangu kila mmoja aendelee kwa uhuru, Asante!,”
Kiba and Amina walked down the aisle in April 2018 and are blessed with two sons.
