Kabi WaJesus's small sister Veronica Kabi is not backing down after netizens called her out for stating that digital content creator and musician Diana Marua is her role model.
In a recent interview, the young girl proudly revealed that she looked up to Bahati's fiancee, a move that angered some netizens who voiced that Veronica she should have chosen her sister-in-law Milly instead given that Milly is a Christian lady and all.
Responding to critics, Veronica maintains she has nothing to apologize for and highlighted that she won't be taking back her words as Diana B is indeed her role model and she chose her for a reason,
Speaking in a video posted by SPM Buzz, Veronica said that she had chosen Diana because of the qualities she sees in her and people were just fishing for drama by trying to pit the two against each other and making a fuss over her comment.
"You know, when it comes to a role model it all depends with you. You can even choose someone who isn't even in the same country as you.
I can even say my role model is Obama. I guess maybe it's because she is famous that is why people viewed it as a competition, you see. It is just people who brought up the whole drama, I just said Diana because I love her and there is nothing much to it," Veronica maintained.
On why she adored the musician so much, the digital content creator said;
"Diana is just a great person. I have loved her for eons ago, I have been watching her since she had a reality TV show on NTV.
I loved her from there. The way she is great with her house helps, ako na roho poa (also she has a nice heart) and she is good. Also, you can see the work she does and I just admire that,"
In a past interview, Kabi's small sister had been asked to name her role model and she proudly named Diana B as the person she truly looks up to.
"Who is Veronica Kabi's role model?" The host had asked to which Veronica responded by saying, "Diana Bahati,"
"Ebu rudia tena watu wasikie (kindly repeat your answer so that the audience can hear you well), " the host teased as she let out a chuckle.
Smilingly sheepishly, Veronica reinforced that she indeed looked up to the mother of 3 and was inspired by the work she did.
