Diamond Platnumz has for the third time announced his intention to get married. The singer said this after one of his record label managers Don Fumbwe tied the knot in an Islam wedding ceremony.
Wishing him all the best in his marriage, Diamond said this year, he's among the Wasafi members that will follow Fumbwe's foot steps.
"Mwaka huu kama wasafi tumeamua wote tusiokua na ndoa kuoa. Mjiandae kwa michango, kuna wanaooa mmoja mmoja, kuna wa wawili waiwli na wa watatu. Ndugu yetu Don Dumbwe kafungua Dimba."
(At Wasafi, this year we have decided to tie the knot, all of us that are unmarried. Prepare yourself for contribution, there are people who will marry only one wife while others will marry two wives at the same time. Our brother Don Fumbwe has opened the game for us.)
In 2017 Zari said their wedding would be one of its kind in East Africa.
“We don’t want a small wedding.Our wedding should be one of the biggest weddings East Africa has ever seen.Meaning the budget has to be big.”
Zari added:
“This year (2017) we are visiting my dad officially. Diamond is OFFICIALLY going to ask for his hand to marry me. He has been to See my family a lot of times but now he is going officially. He wants to take that step this year.”
In 2019, Diamond said he would wed Tanasha Donna on 2020's Valentine's day.
"Nimepanga harusi yangu iwe Valentine's day."
At the time, he added that the event would take place for four days.
Valentine’s day will be on a thursday, so I’ll do it from thursday, friday, saturday and sunday. My wedding. Its that way so far, if there is anything different, I will change the dates.
He postponed to a later date that year but the two broke up.
Diamond is currently dating Zuchu.
