Ohangla musician Prince Indah is a man adored by his music fans. His baritone voice drives women wild when he churns out his songs.

The 29-nine-year-old musician was interviewed by LouLou Hassan on Citizen Tv Friday, June 17 where he told her why he sings love songs.

He has two song collaborations with Bahati. The songs Adhiambo and Abebo are full of praise for women and a man's adoration for her.

He broke down the romantic love songs 'Adhiambo' and 'Abebo' for lovers to preach to each other.

"I talk on behalf of my fans," he said about making romantic songs especially for his male fans to express to their women.

He told LouLou Hassan that his reason for the genre is because 'mapenzi yana run dunia'.

"I'm a Luo singer but not just for Luos. Hatuwezi sema Prince Indah ni msanii wa Kijaluo peke yake. I have countrywide fans. My music knows no boundaries."

A little more than seven years later, his love of Ohangla has became a central part of his sound.

"My journey in music has had its ups and downs. Kidogo imekuwa rahisi vile but imekuwa safari ndefu. He talked about stamping his authority as the King of Ohangla. I just wanted to be me."

Crediting Emma Jalamo as his mentor and inspiration, Indah said, "Nimefunzwa na Emma Jalamo lakini kuna ile talanta. mtu ako nayo somimi nilikuwa nataka nikuwe mimi kama Princ eIndah, so."

"Sasa nikaamua nikuwe na brand yangu mweneywe. I have had this passion and worked towards that goal."

He illustrated his love for Ohangla not just in the lyrics but also within the arrangement, melody, rhythm, and harmony.

"I sing Ohangla music but but mine has bit of a difference from the ordinary Ohangla. Tofauti ni nafuse Ohangla na Afro," he explained.

Prince Indah also admitted that music career pays him very well.

"Muziki inanilipa vizuri kwa shows, endorsements," he disclosed without giving numbers.
