A statement that actress Dorea Chege made on a dating TV show has come back to haunt her.
She was asked by Diana Marua that question and here is how she defended the broke comment
"Lakini sio ati napenda doh, sio lazima akuwe na doh coz me niko na yangu, lakini akue at least" gesturing hig.
She added "For me nataka nikuwe juu yake because I like controlling,".
She has since been bashed online and forced to apologize to her fiance Dj Dibul for her insensitive remarks.
Netizens were unhappy that she was embarrassing him, and speaking while emotional she said she was aware people were concerned.
Dj Dibul also expressed the same sentiments. They both disclosed that they have been away because Dorea has been ailing without revealing what she is suffering from.
This forced them to take a break online from all their platforms.
"I believe there was a reason for this season we had with my baby. This guy has held me down like my baby has been there for me 100 percent, you see like for better or worse. I can't wait for that day to say I do" she said when she was at her lowest.
Dorea said she even had insomnia, hinting she might have been admitted or was rushed in the middle of the night.
"Some things happen for you to learn and appreciate. I used to take good health for granted, ati one day you are bubbly but a day can come and you can't do it, you try, you can't because you are not okay" she shared.
she asked for prayers because she is not fully recovered.
She also spoke about the comments that saw her bashed online. Dorea said she had to apologize in public because the same comments were said in public too.
"All of a sudden bloggers, Dorea is trending kama kawaida" she laughs.
"I'm like what is happenignand then somethign funny guys, my baby hid it from me, nilikuwa pabaya hip time nikitrend, nilikuwa hosi. I said some nasty stuff. That was the time I was extremely sick, and then I dont answer my phone." she defended her actions
"He is trying to deal with me and social media trolls, I scroll through my phone, and then like two, Dorea is trending." she continued "Guys I dont even know what to say I decided because I said it publicly I have already apologized outside the camera to my baby but I have to do it publicly so it is only fair enough I apologize in public. That was so wrong of me. That was bad, it was cruel, it was just bad for me to do that" she begged Dibul.

'Karibu nivunje ndoa' Dorea told Kenyans as she publicly apologized to Dibul promising him she will watch her tongue going forward.
Dibul said "Wasee huchukulia wasee wametulia kama weakness,".
