Yetu Festival organizers address concerns raised about the Boyz II Men concert

The event was marred by technical hitches.

• The events team said it is investigating the root cause of the sound issues with a view to finding solutions to prevent their recurrence in the future.

Radio Africa Group  has issued a statement addressing concerns raised by concert-goers who attend the recently concluded Stanbic Yetu Festival headlined by Boyz II Men and Sauti Sol on 10th, June 2023 at Uhuru Gardens.

The event which was very well attended was met by a few technical hitches that left a section of Netizens disappointed.

Among those hitches is the sound system which many termed as not appealing to the ears.

The Stanbic Yetu Event was held by Radio Africa Events in conjunction with Stanbic Bank.

" We sincerely apologize for falling short of your expectations with regards particularly to the sound quality and layout in the general arena.

We acknowledge it was a concert of two parts, We understand the disappointment and the frustrations you may have felt, and we assure you that we take your feedback seriously," Radio Africa Events said in part.

The team also said it is investigating the root cause of the sound issues with a view to finding solutions to prevent their recurrence in the future.

"We have engaged experienced sound engineers and technical experts to analyse the situation thoroughly.

"We are committed to rectifying these issues and ensuring that all future concerts deliver the exceptional audio and layout experience you deserve." "

Meanwhile, Radio Africa Events expressed gratitude for fan support who showed up in large numbers for the concert headlined by Boyz II Men.

"Your passion for the music and unwavering enthusiasm inspires us to push boundaries and create extraordinary experiences. In the longer term, we see the beginning of and the creation of a massive new concert tourism industry with visitors coming from all over the world to Kenya."
