Kanye West's album, Donda, is currently being made, featured many famous artists, but he threatened to remove several artists from the project - including Jay Z, if they did not show up at the album's 'listening party'.

This is according to a short article that was recently revealed and reported by HipHopDX. On Wednesday (June 7) a short film about the making of Donda leaked online, with the five-minute film offering a behind-the-scenes look at Kanye's unusual creative process - which involved turning Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium into a recording studio.

The film features never-before-seen footage of Ye reflecting on his late mother, Donda West, during a visit to her childhood home in Chicago, playing various songs in the studio, giving a speech and prayer to his team, and connecting with Pusha. T, Playboi Carti, Fivio Foreign, Rick Rubin, and Mike Dean, among others.

One particularly important scene captures the Chicago rapper calling into a dressing room and threatening to kick out anyone who doesn't attend his album listening party — including JAY-Z. "Everybody that's not here, I'm removing their verses," he says.

"I'm taking JAY-Z's verse, I'm taking it — if there's no one here on the board with me, they're not on this version."

After hanging up, Kanye looks at the camera and adds with a laugh: "How do you explain a conversation like this, bro?"
