How to keep safe during Boyz II Men concert at Uhuru Gardens

Have fun on this day, such opportunities come once in a lifetime.

• Boyz II Men will be performing at Uhuru Gardens during the Stanbic Yetu Festival.

• Sauti Sol will also be performing.

Stanbic Yetu Festival

As you might know by now Kenyans will be treated to a thrilling performance by the award-winning group Boyz II Men.

The much-anticipated event which is being organized by Stanbic Bank in collaboration with Radio Africa Group will be one of a kind.

Sauti Sol will also be performing.

The main aim will be to have fun, but it wouldn't cost a thing to take care of your own security.

As Uhuru Kenyatta would say, security begins with you.

Below are tips on how to keep safe during the event.

Avoid living drinks unattended

In this day and age where mchele babes are always strolling for who to attack next, avoid living drinks unattended.

If you must only do so by placing a lid over your drink also alert your friends to watch over your drink.

Avoid walking alone at night

Walking alone might seem interesting, but given people will get intoxicated at some point.

It is easier to walk in pairs or in groups in need on needs help.

Remember that predators watch and attack when you least expect it.

Predators do not come with a tag, your potential attacker might just be the guy on the next table.

Avoid taking drinks from strangers

Everyone loves free drinks.

But in this day and age, there is most definitely nothing for free. Only accept a drink once you have set the boundaries the other person is okay with.

Other wise utabuyiwa chakula na ukuliwe.

Double-check your cab details

Cab drivers are God sent, but some are wolves in sheep's clothing.

In the past, we have heard of cab drivers who have ended up kidnapping their clients.

If you call a cab and the person who appears is different from who you booked, do not use that cab.

If the car model is different from what is shown on the app, Siz run and do not look back.

Do not allow yourself to be a statistic of women or men who have been kidnapped, sexually abused, or gruesomely murdered.
