Kamene Goro, DeejayBones254, and Dj Kaytrix will be painting Mombasa town red this weekend. They addressed the press where they made the announcement about a four-day show.
"It's just to show Mombasa what the party scene needs to start looking like," she said about their itinerary.
Speaking to the assembled press who spoke to them, one bold and unashamed journalist inquired about Kamene's body count.
"Corporates walikuacha and you say it was the lowest period of your life. How can you tell other people and how do you overcome it, alafu body count yako imeongezeka?" thejournalist asked Kamene.
The former Kiss100 host was unhappy with the question but managed a classy response telling the lady,
"Ah, guys I can't talk about such things now. Naomba mpatie heshima yangu kama bibi ya mtu tafadhali and it's a bit offensive for you to ask a question like that when my husband is sitting right next to me. Let's not be those kind of content creators.
Let's also not treat public figures or people who are in the public eye like that. We are all also humans we deserve the respect and dignity that I have accorded you today," she said while ending the interview.
Back in 2019, Kamene revealed details of the trouble she got into after confessing that her body count for men she had slept with was 27.
In an interview with True Love magazine, the now-married woman said that her disclosure brought along repercussions from many sides making it one of the worst moments of her life.
Kamene claimed that her then-employer also sidelined her for the same reason and that she does not regret doing it.
“It was one of the worst periods of my life. Not that I regret what I said, but the backlash was huge. A lot of corporates dropped me and even my employer at the time [NRG radio] put me on an ice block. It was treble just for sharing an honest fact,” said Kamene.
