Social media influencer/socialite Faith Makau popularly known as Amber Ray is taking shots at Kenyan artists and the whole industry at large.
The curvaceous socialite made it known that even though she'd released a song with comedian Eric Omondi it was nothing serious noting the industry held nothing for her as music in Kenya doesn't pay.
"To be honest, Kenyan music doesn't have money the way I see it so siwezani nayo. The song was just you know, ya kushtua wasanii kidogo and then I go back to my things," Amber revealed during an interview with Plug TV Media.
On why she thought the industry was a dry pit she said;
"It can't sustain my lifestyle! Have you seen how I live? Umeona maisha yenye mimi naishi? Kenyan music can't sustain that," bragged the new mom.
The host not ready to let the subject go suggested maybe Amber would try her hat in the ring and just produce music as a hobby but the socialite wasn't budging on her stance.
