• The Stanbic Yetu Festival is soon upon us, and here are just a few things we thought you should keep in mind as you prepare to attend the event.

The Stanbic Yetu festival is a one-of-a-kind event from the service providers to the venue to the price of tickets it screams luxury.

As Kenyans jokingly said it is an event that separated the boys from the men.

The crowd hanging out there is mature mostly the Crème de la Crème of society. Since most of the RnB lovers are older people here are some things you shouldn't do to avoid embarrassing yourself.

Avoid skimpy dressing

Ladies who are attending the event, we know you are there to have a good time but even if you have come to hunt for a partner, dress decently.

Those tiny skimpy dresses you wear clubbing leave them at home and the heels that will kill you, that is not the location for it.

Wear the right make-up

We know you will have makeup on but please do it correctly or just avoid it we don't want people looking like corpses during the photo session.

Respect people's personal space and privacy

Leave the paparazzi to work at home don't bring your snooping skills to the ground.

Let people enjoy themselves with whoever they want to come with.

For the men hunting for women, be courteous when trying to approach a lady, and if she says no just leave her be and go look for other fish.

As much as we tell you the don'ts we also need to tell you some things that you should not forget to take into consideration.

Dress warmly because it is going to be a cold long night and we wouldn't like anyone to be stuck home because of the flu the next week.
Apply some nice perfume and deodorant so that you smell like money and you also smell good which boosts your confidence.
Ensure to network at the event don't just stick with your squad and move around a bit.
Dress to impress you never know who you will meet and rub shoulders with, your destiny helper might be there.
