Gospel artist Joyce Omondi has shared her joy after her husband Waihiga Mwaura made his debut at BBC.

Waihiga made his first debut on BBC's show Focus On Africa on Monday,5th June 2023.

Joyce now says her hubby's debut show came on the day she was commemorating her dad's demise.

This she says is a good sign as she now has something to celebrate on the day that was meant to be sorrowful

Through her socials, Joyce captioned

"At the beginning of this year, my beloved husband @waihigamwaura #theonehekeptforme and I were in London. I was ministering @kiccengland 's New Year Service. In between engagements, we made time to visit the BBC offices (1st photo) just to say hello to the friends and colleagues he met during his tenure there a few years ago as the BBC Komla Dumor Winner (2nd photo).

We didn't realize it then, but it's like retaking the photo was prophetic. We had no idea then that God had something great in store."

Joyce added

"Fast forward to today, June 5th. Two years ago on this very day, my Daddy rested and went to be the Lord.

God in his mercy has given us something to celebrate today - #theonehekeptforme will be making his debut on @bbcnews @bbcafrica #FocusonAfrica at 7:30 pm this evening!

Yaarni, to God, be all the glory. The Master Orchestrater of our lives. So proud of you my love! Shine on!"

Waihiga left Citizen TV after 14 years.

Announcing his decision to his fans, he captioned
