Kifo Kipo-Mbosso speaks about death

The singer was paying tribute to his late friend and Amapiano singer Costa Titch

•Mbosso asked his fans to pray in preparation to death

Tanzanian singer Mbosso says death is a reminder of God's presence in our lives.

The 'Hodari' hit maker was responding when he was asked about the death of his South African friend, Amapiano singer Costa Titch.

"We didn't get the chance to do another collabo after 'Moyo' and 'shetani," he told Wasafi Media

Adding "Death is a reminder of God's presence in our lives. Today is him, tomorrow is me and the other day is someone else."

So what is his opinion on death?

"Everyone will pass through it because it is written that everyone will taste death. We can not escape, we just have to prepare, to live well with people, to ensure you leave a good legacy on earth."

He urged his followers to continue praying in whatever religion they are in.

"Kifo Kipo." 

"For me was a reminder that death is there, he died while performing, you can die while being interview or doing anything. God can take you anytime and this is a reminder that we shall go back to God."

He encouraged;

"No one has ever gone and came back and told us how it is there. God kept it a secret but our faith will save us."

Mbosso and Costa Titch did two collaborations before his death. Titch died while performing at the Ultra music festival in Johannesburg.

His family laid him to rest on 15th Match in a private burial ceremony. 

"As a family we are faced with a difficult time as we try to make sense of what has befallen us," read a family statement

The family firther asked to be afforded the time and space to gather themselves  "The Tsobanoglou family thanks you for the love and support you have given to our son and may you continue to uplift him even in spirit. Please keep us in your prayers and uplifted in the Lord."

 

In another statement, the family thanked friends and fans for their continued love and support for their late son.

"We said our final goodbye to our son, brother, and friend Wednesday 15th March, in a private ceremony surrounded by close family and an abundance of love," read part of the statement

"The Tsobanogou family would like to extend enormous gratitude to the Titch Gang community globally for their continued love and support during this incredibly difficult time."

"Having all of you sharing videos, pictures and memories of the impact our son had on many has softened the pain we carry."
