Award-winning actor, producer, and TV host Jamie Foxx is still on the mend as it seems he's not yet done with hospitals and doctors.

The 55-year-old celebrated actor is reportedly still receiving medical attention, however, in a new city this time round.

Jamie is currently at a facility touted as the top physical medicine and rehabilitation center in the USA where he is getting round-the-clock treatment while his family continues to stay by his side.

American blogs a week ago reported that Jamie was transferred to a rehab facility in Chicago after he was discharged from the hospital in Atlanta where he'd been hospitalized for over 3 weeks.

It's not entirely clear what sort of treatment Jamie is getting in Chicago, but TMZ reports that the facility where Jamie is currently at is well known for offering services to people who are recovering from strokes, spinal injuries, and even cancer treatment.

It also offers an adaptive sports and fitness program. Jamie's friends and family, including his daughters Corinne and Anelise, alongside Anelise's mother, Kristin Grannis, were all in Chicago both Saturday and Sunday to spend time with Foxx during his continued care.

2 weeks ago the 55-year-old legendary actor took to his Instagram account to pen a short appreciation post for all the love and good wishes that fans have been sending his way ever since he was hospitalized 3 weeks ago.

"Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed," wrote the Django Unchained star, adding a heart and fox emoji.

He, however, did not address his medical condition, its severity, or his progress. Jamie was first hospitalized on April 12th in Atlanta for what his family called a "medical complication"

He was in Atlanta filming Netflix's Back In Action alongside Cameron Diaz. According to People magazine, the incident did not happen on set and he was not taken to hospital in an emergency vehicle.

The celebrity is widely known for winning an Oscar for best actor for playing musician Ray Charles in the hit movie Ray back in 2005.

He was also nominated for the best-supporting actor the same year for his role in Collateral. Some of his other hit films include Baby Driver, Django Unchained Annie and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 just to mention but a few.
