Mugithi singer Lawrence Wagura aka DJ Fatxo has broken his silence after the DPP cleared him in Jeff Mwathi's mysterious death.
Fatxo opened the statement by expressing his deepest sympathies to Jeff's family, friends, and all those who were affected by the situation.
“Dear fans, Followers & The General Public.
“I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to address the recent allegations that have been circulating about me and my involvement in the death of my friend Jeff Mwathi.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest sympathies to Jeff's family and friends, and to anyone else who has been affected by this situation. I know that this has been a difficult time for many people, and I want to acknowledge the pain and hurt that has been caused by these accusations,” Fatxo said in part.
He went on to tell the public that he has not been found guilty of Jeff Mwathi’s murder by the DCI detectives and the ODPP.
“I also want to take this opportunity to clear my name and to assure you all that I have been found not guilty after thorough investigations by the DCI detectives and the ODPP.
“While I am relieved to have this behind me, I know that there are still people who may be struggling with feelings of anger, frustration, and disappointment,” he added.
DJ Fatxo further cautioned Netizens against jumping to conclusions and cyberbullying others whenever anything happens.
“I want to use this situation to remind all of us of the importance of not jumping to conclusions or cyberbullying anyone based on mere accusations or hearsay stories. As many of you know, I have gone through a very difficult period both emotionally and physically, and I know firsthand how damaging and hurtful it can be to be on the receiving end of false accusations and cyberbullying,” he added.
In conclusion DJ Fatxo said;

I understand that this situation may have been difficult for some of you, and I want to encourage everyone to seek out the facts and approach this situation with an open mind and a compassionate heart.
