• The former governor's behaviour dominated social media trends yesterday.
Two days ago, Mike Sonko showed off stacks of cash in a rant online. The former Nairobi Governor appeared to have been reacting to an unnamed person's comments that he was broke.
The angry politician suggested it was a family-related dispute, as he showed off wads of cash. The wads of foreign currency shocked Kenyans who reacted under the post.
There is now a leaked audio allegedly from the person he was addressing.
Mimi maisha yangu iko sawa," the man behind the leaked audio insists.
"Ile kidogo napata nashukuru we wacha bana.
The relative advised Sonko that he will not be like others who inflate his ego,
"Kama ni wale watu wanakuambia upige kifua ati we umefika the same thing, walikuambia hivo, ndio impeachment ilifika pale. Impeachment ilitukuta kwasababu wale ulio nao wanakuambia wanakudhulumu."
He reminded Sonko to put God first.
Sonko savagely responded to the purported audio with a lot of fire and made sure to let the person he was beefing with know he was balling.
