Avril is making major boss moves in her life. She has announced that she voiced a character in a Nigerian movie dubbed 'Gammy The Movie'.

"I did my first voice-over, acting gig on an animated film fam."

She happily tagged the social media of the film adding, "Can't wait for the official launch," she shared. The film featured over 40 animated characters.

The exclusive screening of one of Nigeria’s first feature-length animated movies, “Gammy and the Living Things,” took place on 13th May at Film House Cinemas, Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Gammy and The Living Things is a Nollywood film that follows the story of an agama lizard who finds the perfect excuse to exchange the boring and slow-paced life of the Hinterland for the fast-paced and success-paved streets of Lagos.

With his band of music-loving friends, they set out on an arduous but event-filled adventure to make it big and conquer Lagos.

Featuring the vocal talents of icons such as Pete Edochie, Joke Silva, Segun Arinze, Bovi, Bimbo Akintola, John Dumelo, and rapper, MI Abaga in the titular role of Gammy, this will mark the first Nigerian full-length 3D animated feature.

Additional details from producers say this unique project combines Nigerian storytelling, music, and art with a Pan-African cast and a global perspective.
