Award-winning Citizen TV Investigate Journalist Hassan Mugambi is currently a trending topic on Twitter.

Kenyans On Twitter woke up to the news of Mugambi topping trends after unconfirmed deadbeat and cheating allegations were labeled against him by controversial blogger Edgar Obare.

People who claim to know the Journalist at a personal level shared the unconfirmed reports with Obare and following the virality of the reports, Mugambi became a trending topic.

The rumors come just hours after Mugambi penned a beautiful message to his fiancée Mwanaidy Shishi who is turning a year older.

“If I took time to enumerate why this special day lands so much joy in my heart, I’d Write an endless essay… like a candle in the dark you light up my heart. Currently, Shishi is in Dubai enjoying her birthday vacation. She has been sharing videos, and touring different sceneries in Dubai as a way of marking her new age.

Mugambi is yet to speak about the rumors but many of his fans and followers have defended him on the deadbeat claims saying he is always hanging out with his daughter.

Mwanaidy is the founder and CEO of Mama Nilishe - a Swahili cuisine restaurant in the Kilimani area, Nairobi.
