Many Kenyan are known for saying 'soko ni chafu' to explain why they are finding it hard to date.

But there appears to be several explanations for that.

Team Mafisi Chairman Jaymo Ule Msee has advised that many of us don't understand dating dynamics.

In an interview with Dr Kingori, He broke down why our attempts are unscucessful.

"Shida ya watu wengi wanaingi soko kama hawajaiva," he began

(Most people's problem is getting into the market without waiting to get ripe.)

This elicited claps from the audience

"Ukienda kwa soko kuuza maembe, you go with the ripe ones, or the ones that are almost ripe, huendagi na zenye ziko mbichi"

(When going to the market to sell mango's you carry the ripe ones or the ones that are almost ripe. You never go with the unripe ones.)

He continued

"As a man if you go to the field of searching and you don't have enough information or huwezi integrate issues vile unaenda kupambana na dunia, of course that's when we fail so many times that's why you hear someone has been in so many relationships he never lasts six months or three months, ivo ivo"

He says peer pressure to impress others is also to blame

"That's why mara zingine unapata tuna umia sana its a great danger just about putting a point like we never knew, some of us tuliingia sooko by accident.

Unapatana an mtu anakuambia niko na dame pia wewe unaenda kutafuta dame, peer pressure, vtu mingibut you are nto even ready, you understand? "

Dr Kingori asked him to elaborate

"But I would say there's no perfect time of getting into the market you see the problem is unataka kuingia kwa soko kubwa na unafaa kuwa kwa ndonyo, (unataka kuingia kwa class yenye si yako ).

You want to go hawk your product at Carrefour, yet you are supposed to pale kwa kibanda yako, so you must start small, so you gather a lot of experience as you go up"

He explained it doesn't mean you live in the kibanda forever, you can go on to a wholesale, then open your own supermarket after that you can own a chain.

"I am not talking about polygamy, I am talking about experience, the reason why most men fail is because of lack of experience, experience does not come from dating one person, how can you get experience in one job?"

"If Adam had more experience hangefanya ile makosa ilifanyika in the garden of eden,"

Jaymo also insisted that dating shoudln't just be about vibes.

"Saa hii unameet mtu manongea two three days mnaanza kudate, una date na nani?

Bado ni strangers but you yourself are you enough to give yourself happiness?

Usiende kwa relationship ati mtu akubambe. Utaenda tena expectations uone huyu mtu hata sitaki kuwa na yeye but if you are happy with no expectations, you can be able to patch up and make that person venye unataka" he ended
