Maureen Waititu, one of Kenya’s renowned influencers, models, and lawyers continues to share her massive weight loss journey on her social media platforms after she revealed a month ago that she had had a Gastric balloon procedure.
In her latest Youtube video, the mother of two revealed that she had added about 30 kg which made her weigh 94kg and after the procedure, she managed to lose over 20 kg within a period of five months and is ready to lose 10 more Kg further revealing that;
"Having the gastric balloon at first was a struggle at first but I'm currently okay and I have two months to go." Adding that she has currently started exercising since she wants her snatched body as soon as possible as she explained;
"I want to go back to how I used to be and I'm working out to reactivate my metabolism since the weight loss has slowed down."
Expounding that her motivation for losing weight is that, "I want to be healthy so that I can be there for my kids since I was very unhealthy before and I was losing control over my weight"
She further explained that she had bad eating habits.
About the side effects she has come across, the beauty disclosed that she has been belching a lot, having hiccups, and feeling nauseous most of the time.
Waititu joined a group of high-profile Kenyan celebrities like Willy Raburu, Jackie Matubia, and Kate Actress just to mention a few who have admitted to using the weight loss strategy.
The procedure involves placing a saline-filled silicone balloon in your stomach to help lose weight by limiting how much you can eat and making you feel fuller faster.
