Diamond has become the talk of the internet after being seen in church quoting the Bible on Easter Sunday despite being a Muslim who is praying and fasting during this holy month of Ramadhan.
The artist had to delete a post on his Instagram that he uploaded a week ago as a poster announcing the big Easter event that brought him together with artists and pastors including Rose Muhando and Christina Shusho.
It is reported that Platnumz deleted the post after tens of Muslims arrived there and started leaving messages of "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un" an Islamic statement that translates to "Rest in Peace" in simple Kiswahili.
Diamond, in his speech at the Christian gathering, spoke modestly and also quoted some holy scriptures from the Bible, which seemed to upset the Muslims.
A sheik by the name of Shariff has asked Diamond to make a choice whether to remain in Islam and respect it or to change his religion and become a Christian because even God does not like a lukewarm person.
But others have defended the Bongo Flava star saying that their nation has no religion because at the end of the day, God is the same one whom all religions and denominations worship.
