Tanzanian beauty Hamisa Mobetto says she does not want her children to be musicians.

Speaking to Tanzanian bloggers, Hamisa said there are other avenues in life.

"I don't think that is the direction I would want them to take, no. I wouldn't want that. It's not comfortable, there are side effects," she said.

"I would want them to be peaceful and happy."

Hamisa is dating and has kept her man a secret, vowing to do so until he takes the next step.

She also didn't say if he is Muslim or lives in Tanzania. "Something like that. Let's move on to something else. I don't want to give you details."

She said she also keeps him away from her children to ensure they are not traumatised if they split.

"I feel like it is possible he will be a singer like his parents are singer, but my wish would be that he becomes a footballer," she said.

Tanasha weighed in on the music industry, saying the industry comes with a lot of indiscipline.

She said she would still support any dream he would be interested in.

"There is a whole lot of politics behind it," she said.

"A lot of things happen in the music industry that people don't really know about. If he happens to be a musician, I would support him fully. And since I have experience, I will guide his path, hopefully, by the time. We can only hope for the best as time will tell."

Asked to explained how the music industry has changed her, Tanasha said most powerful artistes who have money manipulate people.
