Vera Sidika suffered a pregnancy scare during one of her doctor's visits.

This came up in an episode of the reality show The Real Housewives of Nairobi in which she features.

Vera, who is pregnant with her second child, had gone for a regular scan when the gynaecologist discovered she had fibroids.

"I didn't know I had fibroids before because I had never had pain," Vera tells her doctor.

The socialite, who is accompanied by her husband Brown Mauzo, asks if she can have them removed.

The doctor replies, "After delivery, you can remove them, but for these small ones you can leave them."

Vera is one of the cast members of the reality show airing on Showmax.

During the show, she also talks about being in an abusive relationship in the past.

She is seen having a conversation with rally driver Lisa Christoffersen who talked about why she ended her first marriage.

Vera says she inspired many people when she got married and started a family.

"I'm in a situation where people say, if Vera did it then I can do it," Vera says.

"I was in an abusive relationship. He showed me a sign of him that I didn't really expect and it was done. I didn't want it to happen again and I quit the relationship."

In the past, described her relationship with Tanzanian doctor Jimmy Chansa as one of her terrible experiences.

Even though she did not fully describe what transpired, Vera said she had enough of the experience.

"One of the most unfortunately traumatic experiences i have ever had amongst all my relationships. Never judge a book by its cover and sometimes the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know."
