Abel Mutua's daughter sheds tears reminiscing about him (video)

• Mumbua is about to seat her KCSE examinations.

• She says her parent are giving her a lot of support to succeed.

Movie producer Abel Mutua and his daughter Mumbua have a strong father-daughter bond. The two are loved by their fans as they share moments online.

It is easy to see how she looks up to him, as a strong father in her life and a mentor in her life. Mumbua has revealed that Abel has been helping her navigate school life, and she adores him for it.

In their latest YouTube video, Abel's wife Judy Nyawira asks their daughter to open up about life as a standard eight candidate.

Mumbua will be sitting her KCPE later this year and the young girl is studying hard and her father provides much-needed advice.

She shed tears talking about him as Judy hugged her telling her, "This is a safe space. Talk."

Mumbua wipes away tears saying, "It's good support, he's always wanted the best for me."

She cries some more as her mother tells her, "Why do you think he does that?"

Their daughter is also referred to as Mkamba wa Mama. The young girl said, "Daddy likes seeing me perform. He likes me excelling in everything I do. And now that he sees my work like all the hard work I'm putting in is paying off, that just makes him so happy. And I understand that now."

Abel also provides light moments for Mumbua, "When I feel like I need to amka I go to daddy, when I feel like ei walahi hii kitu, I go to mum."

Mumbua is looking forward to completing Primary School, as she says six out of seven days spent on studies has made her change her behaviour when it comes to school.

"Class 8 has shaped me. It has helped me with timekeeping in school, coz that's something I have been struggling with. Plus homework. tuko tuu sawa tunapambana."
