President William Ruto on Thursday swore- in the fifty nominated Chief Administrative Secretaries at State House, Nairobi.
The process commenced at around 7:00 am, with leaders, nominees and their family members present at the venue.
Among those who have taken the oath of office are; Evans Kidero, Millicent Omanga, Denis Itumbi, Nicholas Gumbo, and Isaac Mwaura.
Others are; Cate Waruguru, Samuel Tanui, Charles Njagua.
President William Ruto urged the CAS to serve Kenyans as per the constitution.
"I want to implore you to read, consult, and be informed so that you can serve Kenyans better," Ruto said.
He further stated that his administration is keen on serving everyone in the country, informing the newly sworn-in CAS to serve with honour and dignity.
"You have joined my team to work for the people of Kenya, you have taken an oath, take the oath with the seriousness it deserves," he added.
The President had on Wednesday appointed the CASs after communication from Speaker Moses Wetang'ula that there's no law that requires them to be vetted by the House.
"It is notified that the Speaker of the National Assembly has referred back to the Appointing Authority the Transmittal of the Nominees for Appointment to the rank of Chief Administrative Secretaries," State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed said.
