Billionaire KRG The Don has for the first time discussed in detail the source of his great wealth.

Despite being largely unknown in the music industry KRG is known to eat life with a big spoon.

Speaking on the podcast 'Iko Nini' , the artist made it clear that he is really a billionaire and not a joke as many have been taking him every time he says that he is the richest musician in the country.

Despite the singer not having much success musically, he has been seen driving around in heavy and expensive cars while eating at various prestigious places, which has been raising many questions from some Kenyans questioning his wealth.

He was said to be the owner of Casavera club located on Ngong road, but rumours also claimed that he is not the rightful owner, although he himself has never spoken about it in public.

But in the podcast, KRG said that his wealth only started in one month and it increased significantly in 2014.

The self-confident artist said that he inherited all his property  from his grandmother who died just one month before his birth.

In 2014, he got a tender to supply raw materials to build a new modern railway, SGR from Ukambani to Nairobi - a deal that brought him millions of money and raised him to a billionaire's mansion.

"I started life slowly, I found, like this job at SGR, I got my job there. We did that work from 2014 to 2016.

I was given a tender to bring sand and pebbles from Makindu to here, and I built all that," KRG beat his chest.

"Fortunately again in the past, I am the one who tells my history in my whole family.

Even my father can't speak in front of me, they calm down and I speak first then they speak. Because the inheritance of my grandfather and grandmother is all mine I was left.

Grandma died 30 days before I was born and she had blessed my mother saying that the child that will be born will be the heir of this property, which is me now in my hands.

She died in 2007 and before she died she called everyone and explained to them that I will take everything that belongs to her," KRG added.
